> To turn an AI-generated logo into an SVG, upload the PNG or JPG to SVGProof. It traces the logo into a few hundred smooth paths with exact shared edges, merges the near-duplicate shades AI renders leave behind, and returns an SVG you can scale to any size. Free preview, no sign-up.

Example on this page: Alterra (AI render, 1536 px): 1536 × 1024 px in, 416 nodes in 11 paths out, traced in 179 ms (measured by the engine).

## Why does an AI logo need converting at all?

Image generators make pixels, not shapes. A ChatGPT or Midjourney logo is a PNG of a fixed size: it blurs when it is enlarged, it has a background baked in, and it carries hundreds of slightly different shades where the design has three or four colors. Printers, sign makers, embroiderers and cutting machines need a vector: shapes described by curves, which stay sharp at any size.

## How do I convert it?

1. Drop the logo on this page (or paste it). PNG, JPG or WEBP up to 5 MB and 17 megapixels (8192 px on a side); larger images are scaled to 4 megapixels first.
2. Compare the vector with your image in the editor, zoomed in. Remove the background, merge near-duplicate colors or snap them to your brand colors if you need to.
3. Download the SVG (one credit) and open it in Figma, Illustrator, Inkscape, Affinity, or send it to your printer.

## What makes an AI logo hard to trace?

- Soft, anti-aliased edges: every edge is a ramp of in-between colors. We read the ramp to place the edge between pixels, so curves stay smooth instead of stair-stepped.
- Noise and near-duplicate colors: one "navy" is often fifty shades. We merge them into the colors the design actually has.
- JPEG artifacts in Gemini and screenshot copies: blocky halos around text. We trace through them instead of turning each block into a shape.
- Gradients and glows: traced as flat color steps, which suits print. A logo that depends on a smooth gradient may need a designer.

## What do I get?

| | SVGProof output |
| --- | --- |
| Formats | SVG, EPS, AI, and PNG at 1x, 2x or 4x. PDF is next. |
| Geometry | Long curves and true corners; neighboring colors share one edge, so nothing gaps when scaled or cut |
| Colors | Flat fills, background as its own layer (or removed), optional snap to your brand palette |
| Editing | Opens ready to edit in Figma, Illustrator, Inkscape, Affinity |
| Your image | Your image is traced in memory on our server and deleted about 30 minutes after you last use it. It is not saved to permanent storage, backups or logs, and is used only to convert it: we keep technical totals, such as processing times, never the image. |

## When is SVGProof the wrong tool?

- Photos and painterly art. They have no clean shapes to find, so we refuse them instead of returning thousands of blobs. A photo needs a different tool or a designer.
- Embroidery files. A machine needs a digitized stitch file (DST, PES), which is made by a digitizer from a vector like ours, not by any tracer.

## Questions

### Is it free?

Converting, comparing and editing are free and need no account; a PNG up to 512 px is free too. The SVG and full-size PNG of one logo cost one credit ($10 buys 25).

### Which AI tools does it work with?

Any that outputs a raster image: ChatGPT, Midjourney, Gemini, Ideogram, Recraft (raster), Leonardo, Canva and others. What matters is the image, not the tool.

### Can I convert many logos at once?

Yes, through the API: up to 100 images per batch request, returned as a zip. Batch upload in the editor is in development.
