# SVGProof MCP server

> Remote MCP server at https://mcp.svgproof.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP) for AI agents: convert a logo from a URL or a local file to SVG, paid from the same credits as the website and the API. Authorization: Bearer <SVGProof API key>, or sign in from apps such as Claude and ChatGPT (OAuth).

## Tools

- `vectorize`: Converts one logo from a public image URL, an upload, or a file attached in ChatGPT. Returns a download link (60 minutes) with the node, path and color counts. 1 credit per new image; the same image with the same options again within 24 hours is free; refused images are free. Options: format (svg, png), background, max_colors, palette, scale and width for PNG.

- `upload_logo`: Free to call. Shows a card in the chat (Claude, ChatGPT) where you pick a logo file and press Convert; the file goes from your browser straight to SVGProof. 1 credit when the conversion succeeds.

- `create_upload`: Free. A one-time link for a local file (10 minutes): a coding agent sends the file with curl, then calls vectorize.

- `account`: Free. Credit balance, free test previews left, this month’s use and the rate limits.

## Claude, ChatGPT and other apps: sign in

Add a custom connector with the URL https://mcp.svgproof.com/mcp. The app sends you to svgproof.com to sign in and allow the connection (OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, dynamic client registration). The connection uses your credits and appears as a key on your Developer page, where you can disconnect it.

## Data handling

Images are processed in memory in Frankfurt and not saved to permanent storage, backups or logs. An upload link holds its file at most 10 minutes; a result stays in memory 60 minutes for its download link.
