# Midjourney logo to vector

> Midjourney outputs raster images (PNG or WEBP), not vectors. To turn a Midjourney logo into a vector, upload the image to SVGProof: it traces the shapes into smooth SVG paths, merges the textured, near-duplicate shades Midjourney adds into flat colors, and lets you remove the background. Free preview, no sign-up.

Example on this page: Greenfield (AI render, 1698 px): 1698 × 926 px in, 353 nodes in 7 paths out, traced in 185 ms (measured by the engine).

## Which Midjourney images trace well?

Flat designs trace best: prompts with "flat vector logo", "minimal", "solid colors", "white background", and no "3D", "photorealistic", "texture" or "gradient". Midjourney leans toward texture and lighting even for logos, so the plainer the render, the cleaner the vector.

- Upscale in Midjourney first: more pixels give smoother curves.
- Crop to one logo. A grid of four variations traces as one image.
- Paper texture, grain and glow become specks or color steps; merge or remove them in the editor.

## How do I convert a Midjourney logo?

1. Drop the logo on this page (or paste it). PNG, JPG or WEBP up to 5 MB and 17 megapixels (8192 px on a side); larger images are scaled to 4 megapixels first.
2. Compare the vector with your image in the editor, zoomed in. Remove the background, merge near-duplicate colors or snap them to your brand colors if you need to.
3. Download the SVG (one credit) and open it in Figma, Illustrator, Inkscape, Affinity, or send it to your printer.

## What if the result has too many shapes?

That usually means texture in the render. Merge near-duplicate colors in the editor, or render again with a flatter prompt. If the image is mostly texture or a photo-like scene, we refuse it rather than return an unusable file; see [why was my image refused](https://svgproof.com/guides/why-image-refused).

## When is SVGProof the wrong tool?

- Photos and painterly art. They have no clean shapes to find, so we refuse them instead of returning thousands of blobs. A photo needs a different tool or a designer.
- Embroidery files. A machine needs a digitized stitch file (DST, PES), which is made by a digitizer from a vector like ours, not by any tracer.

## Questions

### Does Midjourney have a vector or SVG export?

Not as of the date below: it exports raster images only. Tracing is the way to a vector that keeps the design you picked.

### Can I use the WEBP file?

Yes. PNG, JPG or WEBP up to 5 MB and 17 megapixels (8192 px on a side); larger images are scaled to 4 megapixels first.

### Is it free?

Converting, comparing and editing are free and need no account; a PNG up to 512 px is free too. The SVG and full-size PNG of one logo cost one credit ($10 buys 25).
