## Questions

### What does one credit buy?

Every finished file of one uploaded logo: SVG, EPS, AI and PNG at any size. After the first download, all other formats, color counts and recolors of that logo are free, and so are downloading it again and uploading the same file again later. A different file, such as a resized or re-saved copy, is a new logo.

### Do credits expire?

Credits you pay for have no expiry date: they stay in your balance as long as your account and SVGProof exist (if we ever close, we give 30 days' notice and refund unused credits you paid for, see the terms). Plan credits arrive every billing period, and unused ones roll over up to 3 periods’ worth: above that, a renewal adds fewer credits or none. We refund the part of the price for the credits it did not add, automatically, and email you. Pack and referral credits do not count toward the limit. Promotional credits (referral rewards and other bonus credits) are used first and expire 3 months after you get them.

### Do web and API share credits?

Yes. Your account has one credit balance. A logo download in the editor costs one credit, an image converted through the API costs one credit, and every API key you create draws from the same balance. Nothing to split or transfer.

### What if a conversion fails?

On the web, converting is free, so nothing is charged. On the API, images we cannot convert (photos, broken files) are refunded automatically, and so is a request that times out.

### Can I cancel a subscription?

Any time, from your account. Credits you already have stay in your balance.

### Can I get a refund?

If you bought as a consumer, you have 14 days to withdraw from a payment, on your account's billing page. Purchases made for a business have no withdrawal. What is refunded and how is set out in section 3 of the terms (svgproof.com/terms).

### Who handles payment and VAT?

Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. It takes the payment, charges VAT or sales tax where it applies, and sends your receipt.
