The API is open for commercial workflows.
Many of you told us you want to use SVGProof in commercial workflows, and that the editor is not enough: you make logos by the hundred, for customers, in a pipeline. We heard it. The SVGProof API turns an image into an SVG in one request, with plans for steady volume, batches of up to 100 images and a data processing agreement for business use.
What did you ask for?
- A price per image that falls with volume, and that does not depend on whether the image came from the website or from code.
- Batches, so a catalog or a back-catalog is one job and not a thousand scripts.
- Retries that never charge twice, and no charge for images we cannot convert.
- Terms and a data processing agreement that a business can sign.
What is in it?
- One request. Send an image to
POST https://api.svgproof.com/v1/vectorizeand the SVG comes back in the same response, with node and color counts in the headers. API documentation. - Batches. Up to 100 images in one request, returned as a zip with a manifest. Each image succeeds or fails on its own, and only delivered images are charged.
- Safe retries. Send an
Idempotency-Keyand a repeated request returns the same result without a second charge. - Brand control. Snap every color to your palette, remove the background, limit the number of colors for screen printing, or ask for a PNG at any scale from the same vector.
- Refunds that need no ticket. Images we refuse (photos, broken files) and timeouts cost nothing.
What does it cost?
One credit per image, the same credit as the website and one balance for both. Plans run from $29 / month (1,500 credits, $0.019 an image) to $299 / month (30,000 credits, $0.010 an image). Unused plan credits roll over up to 3 periods’ worth. Every account gets 10 free 512 px test previews, so you can wire it up before you pay. All prices are on pricing.
What about a whole wall of partner logos?
The logo wall is the quickest way to clean up to 20 sponsor, client or partner logos: backgrounds go, margins go, sizes match, one style. It is a web page, and it spends the same credits. When a wall has more than 20 logos, or you want it inside your own tooling, send the files to the batch endpoint and lay the results out yourself.
How are the images handled?
An API image is held only for the request. It is not saved to permanent storage, backups or logs, and is used only to convert it. Business accounts can accept our data processing agreement.
What should I do next?
- Create a key on your account page and make a test request: it costs nothing.
- Read the API documentation, or the overview for developers and platforms.
- Tell us what is missing at [email protected]. The next things we build come from those messages.
