- Reduce points: Object → Path → Simplify, a little at a time, watching the corners.
- Fix the lettering: AI-made and low-resolution logos often have malformed letters. Retype them in the real font.
What if I do not have Illustrator?
Inkscape is free and has Trace Bitmap (the steps). Or vectorize the image online and download the AI file to keep working in Illustrator later.
